Now What We Gone Do?

In lieu of everything going on in our given world today, every one is walking around scratching their heads as to what needs to be done with our man made catastrophes. Everyone is panicking under the veil of we’re just taking safety precautions and yes, when I say everyone, that includes our churches.

We sing and preach teach, Sunday in and out about believe, trust and hope in God. And when test time comes from the mistakes of mankind, we send out mass messages for all members to remain home because of concern and love for one another; now we all want to be sensible. We have inside information written in our Constitution, that perilous times would come, so what are we doing?

Oh, I see, now that it’s actually here and we haven’t seen this new named type of virus, disease, flood, tornado or earthquake, we again go buy up all the foods, toiletries and anything else we think we’re going to need. Question: what plan do we have when the food, and etc’rs run out, deplete and there is nothing else to buy? What will be the procedure when the food stops shipping or even growing? What will be the protocol?

The church has been said to be the place for us to gather to be uplifted and strengthened. When the doors are closed what we gone do, where are we going, who we gone call? The majority of U.S. citizens are looking to the leader of the country for answers, he’s man just like us. Good luck with that.

I saw something on social media that basically said the corona virus is going to mainly affect the low income and low wage earners. Raise your hands if you can explain to me how the virus is going to distinguish who is low income and who’s pay is below the whatever man made determined definition of what low is? What happened to the God who healed people of leprosy? What happened to the God who called down the plagues on Egypt? But none of them affected the children of Israel? Where is the God who opened the Red Sea, fed His children with bread from heaven, gave them water to drink from a rock that He had His servant speak to?

Mankind created these disasters for their own personal reasons or agendas whether knowingly or unknowingly, and the answer will not come from this level or in this realm. When the children of Israel often found themselves in trouble and they got out of the will of their King, they began to cry out for help from the only One they knew could deliver them.

We as His children and citizens must do as they did, for this is truly an “our Father who is in heaven” moment. We have sung about it, talked about it, now it’s time to be about it and apply it. Just as we did when we were children, look to our earthly father who we thought and believed could do anything provide for and protect us. Now we look to our heavenly Father. That’s what we gone do!
