The most important part of this recipe is the King. The thing I like most about this King is, we DO NOT get to vote Him in and therefore, CANNOT vote Him out. What the King speaks cannot be changed — it becomes law. What He calls rebellion is just that.
Because most of us have been brought up under the Democratic regime, it may be hard for us to grasp hold of this. And if you’re living in this world today, we should fully understand why there is a need for there to be One person setting the standards for living.
All of a sudden everyone has rights and are coming out of the closet or out from under a rock with something they want to make law. And WHY, WHY, WHY, is it always something opposing what the King has already said, why for? I’m telling you, I am so glad being of another world, because no matter what this world we’re in votes on, I am under subjection and rulership of the King who controls it all.
Next, add a domain. Because you can’t be a king without some territory to rule over. As I have said before, God set up our world to rule before He created us and placed us in it to dominate it. Most kings fight to expand their domain and the glory given to the King is measured by on how well endowed the Kingdom is and how it’s governed.
Remember when the queen of Sheba heard about the wisdom of king Solomon, and brought all of her wealth and when she got there and saw with her own eyes how great his knowledge was and how blessed his men and servants were? She brought many, many gifts to give to the king. But when she saw the blessings that God had bestowed upon king Solomon, it left her breathless. The wealth and power of His domain was exceedingly great!
Now add the Constitution (Bible) by which we all live and govern ourselves. In it is the perfect will, predetermined, and designed plan of the King and those who would live in it’s kingdom. We need the constitution to know what is expected of us as citizens and what our rights are according to the King.
Add in several books of the Law, which includes all the King’s spoken words, commandments and directions on the standards set for us to live by. We really don’t have any excuses of saying we didn’t know, it is written and all we have to do is follow what He said.
The last ingredient I will add (and there are many more) are the citizens. A king needs someone to rule over and the king has the honor of choosing those who will become citizens in His Kingdom. No man can come to the Father unless he is drawn to the Son. It is an honor to be accepted into the royal family of the Kingdom of God and with this awesome citizenship, comes benefits. Because we are in right standing with our King, all of our needs will be met according to His riches.
It is the responsibility of the King to make sure this is done. The King looks very glorious when it’s citizens are in good health, prosperous and well taken care of. There is no partiality, preferential treatment, everyone is created equal and has access to the king and everything He owns. These few ingredients make for a great world to be of. Just imagine how much greater it will be when all the ingredients are sought, learned and added!
